Beltane Inner Dance Journey

Join us as the wheel of the year turns to Beltane, signifying the turning towards summer, celebrating the fertility of the land and of the potential for all our future projects + dreams and reigniting our inner spark. We will start by arriving + grounding and then share an inner dance journey together, before returning + grounding, sharing.

Hard to put into words & articulate in a cognitive way, Inner Dance is a unique somatic sound meditation, a shamanic experience/earth based energy or remembering where the eyes are closed but the heart is gently opened through the use of different sounds, frequencies and brain waves. We start with eyes closed lying and then allow the music to guide us. 

It is not 'dancing' as you know it! Everything is done with eyes closed, and all emotion is welcome. To find out more about Inner Dance visit the founder's website here: http://www.innerdance.eu/

The session will end with grounding, returning, sharing and snacking ~ please bring a snack (fruit, nuts etc) to share as well as any items you wish to place on our temporary altar for Beltane (eg crystals, talismans, special items etc - you will get it back!). 

 

Every body is welcome & no meditation or dance experience is required.

About your facilitator: 

Equally interested in stillness and movement, the magic and the mundane and the  thread weaving the stories of our lives which is both, Marie loves to dance. Following her Awakened Belly Dance facilitator training and initiaition in the Sinai Desert in Sept 2021 with Katie Holland, things have never quite been the same...in the best possible way. Marie undertook her Inner Dance facilitator training in Sept 2022 and is currently part of a one year intensive advanced training with ID founder Pi & other ID facililtators globally.
