About the Event
🌿 Looking for a chance to get out of the city and into some of the most spectacular beautiful local surrounds with like minded people? Join us for our popular returning Yoga Hikes! We've lovingly created a whole day itinerary to nurture body, mind and soul through connection with self and others.Â
🌿 Our route this month begins at a stunning yoga spot next to some 12th Century monastery ruins, followed by a hike down the River Severn to Ironbridge, where we'll have a lunch break. Following this we'll hike through ancient woodlands and field, meditate, enjoy vegan cake and like minded company! We'll end with a Yin yoga session and closing circle back at the abbey.Â
🌿 Please BYO snacks, lunch, yoga mat (you won't have to walk with this, there will be chance to drop it back at your car before we start the hike), water, picnic blanket.Â
🌿 Meeting & parking point is Buildwas Abbey. There is free parking but please read more info on parking below in FAQ.

🌿 FAQÂ
~ Do I need yoga/meditation experience? Â Â
No, the yoga and meditation sessions will be completely guided and suitable for everyone, from those who have never practiced yoga before to seasoned practitioners. Â Â
~Do I need to be good at hiking?Â
Not particularly, the route is approx 6/7 miles ('moderate' difficulty rating on sites I've consulted) round trip and we'll be going at a steady pace, with breaks when needed. You do need a fairly good fitness level to take part but you don't need to be a hiking pro! Â Â Â Â
~Do I need to wear hiking boots?Â
They are recommended for this route which is potentially v muddy and rocky in places. Â
~ Is there free parking?Â
Yes - a small road from the main road takes you down to the abbey. It opens out into a wider strip/road which can be used for parking - there is space for about 20 cars but this includes parking on the grass and in a couple of lay bys (all will be apparent when you get there). In order to try and leave some spaces for other abbey visitors throughout the day we ask you to please ride share where possible or if you're local get a lift to this spot! Thank you.Â
~ Are there toilet facilities?Â
There are no toilet facilities for most of the route just the great outdoors! There are public toilets at Ironbridge at Wharfage car park and near the gorge.Â
Looking forward to sharing what will be a beautiful day with you - if you have any unanswered questions don't hesitate to drop Marie an email: wildwolfmovement@gmail.comÂ
