✨ How are sessions conducted?
Live online via Zoom. The meeting link & info will be emailed to you on registration. You won't need to have your camera on during the sessions but it will be encouraged to leave it on if you feel comfortable to connect with the group.
✨ I can't make part/all of the sessions, are they recorded?
Admittance to each session will have a cut off point (eg 10 mins in) to keep the container of the session strong. All sessions will be recorded, with a replay sent out within 24 hours of the live. You will have access to the replays until the end of February.
✨ Is any dance/yoga experience required?
You don't need any dance or yoga experience to take part.
Awakened belly dance is an energetic, embodied process based on the chakras and is unlike other styles of belly dance. It can be fairly physically intense but can be done seated if required.
The yin/yang yoga session will be accessible for everyone comfortable with a mat based practice (i.e. able to get up & down from the floor unassisted).
✨ Can I join with my medical condition?
While modifications will be offered for both the yoga + dance where appropriate/possible please consult your health care provider BEFORE joining if you have any concerns + in addition email Marie with any important info. Please note this is NOT suitable for pregnant folk and those under 16.
